A Bit of History
This private collection assembles 136 unique $200 casino tokens minted in short runs between 1995 and 2010, each measuring ~8.9 cm (in 10 cm capsules) and struck in 1 Troy Pound (.999 fine silver), with many early pieces featuring 24K HGE. Originally won from $200 “Silver Strike” slot machines across iconic U.S. casinos.
- 136 pieces Curated as a set
- 4 exclusive Masterpieces
- 5 Error/variation strikes
- 20 “0001” Edge-serial tokens
The collection captures a singular period (1995–2010) of $200 “Silver Strike” tokens: each ~10 cm capsule holding 1 Troy Pound (.999 fine) silver, with early 24K HGE accents and later laser color (mints G / RWM / S). Curated as 136 pieces, it includes four Masterpieces, one Prototype, five documented errors/variations and twenty edge-serial “0001” tokens.
What are “Silver Strikes”? Limited-edition silver tokens dispensed by special slot machines. The rare $200 issues (1995–2010) hold 1 Troy Pound (.999 silver) with many early issues featuring 24K HGE, in ~10 cm capsules. They were obtained as a jackpot or by exchanging 20 × $10 strikes at the cage. Principal mints include Continental Coin, Global Minting, Green Duck, Sunshine Mint and Roger Williams Mint.
